This Sunday, we will have the visit of the community "faith and light" Saint Augustine with whom we will have a meal in common. Our parish secretary Michel, his wife Anne and their son Nicolas are members of this community.

In France, there are about 300 faith and light communities (https://foietlumiere.fr /) which each have between 15 and 40 people.

All communities are made up of people with disabilities, their parents and/or siblings and friends.

Most of the communities are connected with Catholic parishes, some with other Christian spiritualities. Faith and Light being an ecumenical movement, the Catholic community faith & light Saint Augustine accompanied by Father deacon Jean Maurice will visit us this Sunday, June 19 for the liturgy and then on the occasion of a joint meal in the garden. Everyone brings what they can (coordinate the meal with Michel Manago michel[at]manago.fr ). Orthodox and Catholic brothers and sisters, we are a gift to each other. Let us live the gift of friendship and the God of Friendship will accompany us and unite us in his life.

"Night of the watchmen" organized by ACAT (Action of Christians for the Abolition of Torture) in Essonne

This year our community will host this event in our church on June 24 from 20:30.

It will be an opportunity to meet and pray with our Christian brothers from other denominations in the region for the support of victims of Torture.
